I don’t want a package - can you still design a site for me?
Absolutely! We are happy to quote for any custom website design projects, whether they be a new custom-build or a revamp of an existing site. Simply drop us a line via our Contact Page or give us a call on 0844 884 9104 and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
What about updating the site?
Using our easy-to-use Site Editor System, we can produce you a site with a simple Administration area which will allow you to update the site yourself with little or no website knowledge, using a simple-to-use Word-like editor. This allows you to update the site as and when you need, and allows you to keep site update costs to a minimum. If you would like to try out the editor to see how easy it is to use please contact us via the Contact Page and we will grant you access to the demo site.
If you do not have the time or resources to update the site yourself, you can take advantage of our Website Maintenance Service whereby our staff will update the site to your requirements, as and when you want, at a fixed price.
When you design a website, do you use templates?
Simply put, No. When you use our website design services, we always start with a blank canvas and the site design comes from the designer based on your specifications and your input.
How long does it take you to design a website?
From receiving your order, for a website of 5 or fewer pages, it would normally take approximately 1 to 2 weeks. This is to produce the initial design for approval and to amend the design according to the customer’s requirements. For larger scale sites, this timescale would extend depending on the site. All our website designs remain at the proof stage until the customer approves them to go live.
What is a Domain Name?
A Domain Name is a unique website address such as www.mywebsite.co.uk or www.mywebsite.com which when entered into the address bar of a web browser shows the visitor your site. See our Jargon Buster for more information.
Can I have any Domain Name?
You can have any Domain Name you wish, as long as it is currently available. We can register your Domain as soon as you order your package to make sure you secure your chosen name.
Who owns the Domain Name?
We register all client Domains in the client’s own name or in their business name, as appropriate. As such, you will always own your Domain Name.
What is Website Hosting?
Website Hosting is simply the name given to the area of space used to store the pages of your website. All of our client websites are hosted in the UK on high-speed webservers. See our Jargon Buster for more information.
