In order to establish a business footing for all website design projects, we have put together a package of Website Business forms which will be used for all customers.
We have:-
The Website Planning Document is the document that takes you through all the elements that make up your site, including a section on what you want to achieve with your website. This is an essential document and will be used as the basis for planning your site.
The Website Content outlines what we require in terms of text and graphics and includes a planning sheet where you can let us know what goes where in terms of files and graphics. This means there are is no confusion at the design stage of the process.
Finally, the Website Contract is the agreement between ourselves and the customer which outlines prices and time schedule agreements. It outlines exactly what you will get from your web design package and lists all elements that are included. It will also outline what is not included in the package. This must be agreed and signed prior ro commencement of any work so both parties are clear of each others responsibilities.
We feel that these 3 documents are essential for the smooth working relationship between ourselves and our customers. If your design company does not offer this then you may want to think about looking elsewhere.
